A little ol’ teaser from tonight’s engagement session.  These two lovebirds are getting married in less than two weeks! Congrats you two! You guys will be ringing in the new year as husband and wife!

I have to give it up to these two for braving the blistering cold for their engagement shoot on Saturday! We started in downtown Long Beach and then made our way to the Pier. That was as far as we got before the cold became too much to bear and rain started sprinkling down on our gear. Our last shots of the day were of a ginormous rainbow arching over the happy freezing cold couple. We took it as a sign and called it a day, piled back into the car, and blasted the heat. Mmm… toasty!

I loved their outfits here! I had to refrain from asking Jane where she got her entire outfit.

The sun finally made an appearance at the very end of our shoot, breaking through the storm clouds so I could get some back-lit action.

I had Ming come along with me on this shoot and he captured some amazing pictures as well. I especially love this one! It’s perfection.
Jane and Vik, I am so looking forward to shooting your wedding next month! I can’t wait!

I had been looking forward to Crystal + Chris’s engagement session for weeks. Seriously, who wouldn’t? A super hot couple wanting their engagement shoot to be funky, urban and edgy? Hell yeah! Even though we got a bit of a late start and lost light rather quickly, the lighting and mood of Union Station just rocked and we were able to continue shooting into the night. I came away with some of my most favorite pictures ever from their shoot!

I had one of my second shooters Micah Gilmore come along with me on this shoot and he captured some amazing shots as well! He’s enthusiastic, funny, easy going and talented to boot! Crystal and Chris, thank you guys so much for the fun we had Saturday! I think Chris was lying when he said he hates having his picture taken. You both look like naturals in front of the camera! Can’t wait for the wedding!

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend! We just got back from our road trip to the Bay Area and we can’t believe how hot it is down here. It’s just wrong! Hope everyone’s staying cool…

Here are a few of my favorites from Irene and Michael’s engagement shoot a few weeks ago. We started of at Craig’s Park in Fullerton and then made our way to Laguna Beach before the sun set to capture their engagement pictures. I love how their photos turned out! They were down to try anything so they ended up with a wide variety of photos that are traditional, fun, silly, romantic, and down right sexy!

I’m still working on the photos from Irene and Michael’s engagement shoot last weekend, but thought I’d post this silly cute one in the mean time. The expression on Michael’s face is priceless! Go go speed racer!
