Debbie + Chuck

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

I know, I’ve been neglecting my blog lately, but please believe me when I say it’s for good reason! I can’t divulge all my surprises just yet, but know that I have some really really exciting things in the works that I hope to be sharing with you all shortly!

In the mean time I will leave you with some gorgeous images from Debbie and Chuck’s wedding which I second shot at for the talented Jason Q Tran. By the way, did you all hear the big news? Jason Q Tran was picked as one of the top wedding photographers for 2008 by The Knot magazine! How awesome is that?! Congrats Jason, it’s so well deserved!

Jason and I started off at an ocean front hotel where Debbie and her girls got beautified.

I absolutely adored Debbie’s blush pink bouquet of peonies and rannunculas.

A very gorgeous bride! Chuck is one lucky man!

We can’t forget about the groom! Chuck has the craziest job ever. He jumps out of planes and photographs people as they sky dive! When I found this out, he asked me that day if I wanted to do it, but he made it sound like it was no big deal like I’d be trying some new ice cream flavor or something.

After their first look, we all headed to the beach for some portraits of Debbie and Chuck together. Aren’t they both so good looking?

Their bridle Great Dane, Casey, also came along and was a big part of their day. She played the part of ring bearer and actually carried their real wedding bands down the aisle! She is so sweet and so gentle it’s hard not to fall in love with her right off the bat.

Debbie and Chuck had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach, Ca.

Before the start of the ceremony, one of the groomsmen removed one of the aisle chairs and replaced it with Casey’s doggie bed so she’d have a good view of Mommy + Daddy getting married. :)

This next photo cracks me up. Usually, I’m totally ignored during the ceremony, but Chuck and Debbie looked over at me at one point during the ceremony and acknowledged my presence with a wink and a smile!

Now here is Chuck being Chuck. As they got together to pose for the camera, Chuck gave me a knowing smile and I knew something was up but wasn’t sure what. As they smiled, Chuck silently counted, and on 3 I clicked the shutter and he… well, you can guess what his hands were pinching. Hilarious!

Debbie and Chuck danced a cute little choreographed number for their first dance.

Someone special was celebrating their birthday that night so Debbie and Chuck honored her with her own little birthday cake during the reception. That just goes to show you how thoughtful these two are!

A quick touch up…

And then the party started!
