crystal + chris

I’m sure you all recognize Crystal and Chris from their two engagement session at Union Station and Newport! Well, Crystal and Chris finally tied the knot in a beautiful “Greek-namese” wedding that blended and joined together two loving families on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I nearly teared up when both fathers spoke about their children, their soon to be son/daughter in law, and of the joy they each felt knowing their children had found one another. And I have to give major props to Rachel and Catherine who gave the best combined matron of honor speech ever! :)

Thank you Micah for coming out and shooting with me that day! Be sure to check out his blog for more fabulous teasers as well, but not just yet as he and his wife are out of town celebrating their one year anniversary! Happy Anniversary you two! And of course, a big thanks also goes to Kerrie of Platinum Weddings by Kerrie for all her hard work and devotion to her couples! I honestly don’t know how she does it!

We started bright and early with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony at Crystal’s parents’ house. A couple pictures of Crystal’s mom helping her into her beautiful custom made ao dai.

And the tea ceremony where both families gave such touching blessings for the soon to be newly weds.

And then it was time for a quick change and touch up before we all jetted over to The Lab in Costa Mesa for some pre-ceremony fun! But first we’ll start with Crystal’s gorgeous rings and her to die for Stuart Weitzmans! I was beyond smitten with her shoes!

Crystal and Chris’s wedding party came with for some portraits as well. Now, how great is it that everyone is the perfect height for me to compose a nice, symmetrical shot? :)

That’s not to say that the wedding party didn’t start to slack off when Crystal and Chris weren’t looking. *wink* But really, who can say no to a round of foosball, right?

A glimpse at how gorgeous the flowers and bridesmaid dresses were!

Then it was getting married time! As Crystal slipped Chris’s ring onto his finger it got a bit….stuck. I laughed out loud when Chris joked aloud that he had consumed too much sodium the night before, making the ring a tight fit.

So cute! It was a long day for the little ones!

The new Mr. and Mrs!

Crystal and Chris has THE most adorable flower girls in the UNIVERSE! Get ready for cuteness overload!

And the three of the sweet girls together!

They couldn’t be more in love if they tried…

Crystal, Catherine and Rachel looking stunning!

Chris looked quite handsome too!

Their reception was held at grand The Villa.

The newlyweds!

Then the men partook in some Greek dancing!

And the girls danced with each other too! How cute are they?

Crystal and Chris, thank you both for being such an amazing couple! I’ve loved photographing the two of you together and can’t wait to be photographing the little Greeknamese babies in the future! Lol! Hope you two are having a blast in Mexico right now!
